Lonely Music Box
This piece has a weird story behind it. One day, I walked into my school's piano lab for class and I found pieces of numbered masking tape attached to my keyboard. I wasn't quite sure of what it was all about so I decided to play the notes in order. I didn't know what it was but I decided I liked it enough to write a little song out of it. This is not that song.
After I finished working on that joke of a song, I got bored and decided to mess around with the file. I changed the instrumentation so that instead of a traditional piano it was played on a celesta, basically a toy piano. The file kinda glitched out because of the celesta's ranged and it only played about half of the notes and it made a very earie feeling and I decided to write a new song around this feeling. This is that song.
