Once again: The Rat Pad

Once Again: The Rat Pad is a game developed by Team Moss for the 2019 Global Game Jam. The game was developed in just under 48 hours and focuses on the cyclical nature of life as a young person, particularly in the city of New York.

Homer and Virgil are two rats who find themselves washed up on the beach one morning, their home destroyed. In an effort to make peace with their new lives, Homer goes to the shore to fish up any pieces of trash he can. Homer and Virgil use this garbage to decorate their new home, but they know they can never be truly safe from the storm which brought them here in the first place.

The game is not without bugs and ongoing development is possible with time.
